If you’re looking for ways to increase your appetite here is my natural treatment.  After giving me my children their vitamins every morning; one day when I was out of my normal vitamins, I tried theirs.  I haven’t looked back since.  I have discovered that if you take Flintstones vitamins, they will help to increase your appetite.  This will work whether you are an adult or child.

First, stop using artificial sweeteners (this includes Splenda).  Next, you want to stop eating all the sugar-free candies.  The real purpose in ingesting these, or the result you experience will be an increase in your appetite causing you real hunger. Also, if you take two chromium Picolinate pills daily, this will provide some help.

5-HTP Decrease Appetite Natural Home Treatment and Remedy

There is an approach to calm an overactive appetite.  What you can do is take 5-HTP.  It is an herb that helps to balance out the serotonin in your brain.  This will then help in calming your overactive appetite.  By taking this herb, you will also improve your quality of sleep at night.  This particular herb has been found to be successful in also treating depression and ADHD.

My recommendation is to drink coffee.  Caffeine has a positive effect on preventing an overactive appetite.  I regularly drink coffee.  Often I have a cup while I’m cooking breakfast.  I found that by drinking a cup of coffee before I have a meal; I won’t eat nearly as much.  When you go to restaurants do you ever notice how people will order a cup of coffee while they await their meal to arrive?  This really works well for me.  It also provides a great boost to my day invigorating me with energy.  One caution though, try to make sure to drink just as much water as coffee to counteract the dehydration effects that coffee can cause.
