Dry Eyes Home Remedies and Natural Treatments

Tea Soak

A natural home remedy for dry eyes is to soak two cotton balls in warm tea. When the cotton balls are saturated in tea, place the cotton balls on your eyelids and leave them there for five minutes.

A natural remedy for dry eyes is to drink lots of water. Dry eyes can be caused by dehydration or not getting enough water.

For a great dry eyes natural remedy you should make a paste out of lemon juice, tomato puree, orange lentil flour and turmeric powder. Try applying the paste under your eyes to help prevent them from getting too dry.

Oil Moisturizer

Try applying almond oil and castor oil under your eyes to moisten them. This natural home remedy tends to work better then any moisturizer cream found in the stores.

Another way to reduce your dry eyes is not to wash them out too much with water. The water will wash out the tears in your eyes which can cause dry eye.

To help your dry eyes, take a cucumber and put it in the fridge to cool it down.  After it has cooled take the cucumber out and slice it up. Put the slices on your eyes to bring relief to them.

Castor Leaves

A good home remedy for dry eyes is to take castor leaves and boil them in water. Once brought to a boil take the castor leaves out and let them cool off. Then take two cotton balls and soak them in cold water. Once the castor leaves have cooled down, wrap them around the cotton balls and place the balls on your eyes.
