Eye Care Home Remedies

Of all the home remedies for eye care I’ve come across, this one has been the best for me.  If you have dark circles under your eyes and possibly some irritation, I’ve found a great a remedy.  Go to the grocery store and get a cucumber and when you get home, cut it into a thin slice.  Next, take the thin slice of cucumber and place it over each eye for 30 minutes.  You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

When dealing with eye care issues, the one I have the most trouble with is puffiness.  I recently heard about a remedy for eye puffiness that I’ll share with you.  To get rid of the puffiness, get some vitamin E oil and put it on around your eyes.

I have a suggestion for you when you’re troubled with eye irritation.  Get some eyebright, goldenseal, and strawberry leaf, and make your own eye wash with it.  This should help with your condition.  Another option is to use witch hazel.  Good luck with our efforts!

When it comes to eye care home remedies, suffering a black eye is very common.  I played sports growing up and getting a black eye was always happening to me.  My mom used to take a cloth and soak it in hyssop or in some witch hazel tea and then put it over my black eye.  This was really helpful in reducing the swelling.

For having conditions like cataracts and glaucoma; I take some fennel and eyebright in capsule form, and it really seems to help.  It can also help to improve your eyesight.

I was telling my friend at work about how my eyesight is getting so poor.  He swore by this home remedy for eye care so adamantly that I decided to give it a try.  Basically, he suggested taking some cod liver oil and a B-complex to improve my eye sight.  Guess what?  It actually did help to improve my eye sight.

When you are noticing puffiness under your eyes, this is just water retention.  What needs to happen is to have this fluid reabsorbed back into the body.  It is a very natural process to take care of this problem.  You need to get up and move around, get your body awake and activated.  You can take the dog for a walk, do some housework, or do some work outside.

Eye care is something you need to be careful with when addressing it at home.  I however, do know of something that is safe and is good for your eyes that you can do at home.  Simply include a papaya in your daily diet.  It is rich in carotene which is good for your eyes.
