Fever Home Remedies and Natural Treatments

It's extremely important to take care of yourself, but this is even more important if you're sick.  When you feel like a fever is coming, be sure to avoid beverages like coffee and soda.  Replace these drinks with herbals teas, juice and water.  If you prefer juice, orange and cranberry juice is very beneficial when treating a fever.  Herbal teas are very healing, and green tea has a high concentration of these healing properties.

One of the best home remedies for a fever is all natural and very simple to do.  It's very common to “sweat out” your fever.  To do this, simply wrap yourself in a warm blanket before you go to sleep.  No matter how warm you feel throughout the night, keep yourself covered.  The idea is to sweat as much as possible.  Be sure to continue to drink water to replenish the natural hydration you will lose from the perspiration.  In the morning, you will find that the fever has broken.  This is because the body has literally sweat out all of the toxins in your body that were causing the fever.  This proves to be one of the most effective treatments for a fever.
