Fly Control Natural Home Remedies

 

 

Mint is a very effective natural fly control repellant.  Simply fill some small satchels (you can find these at craft stores, or they can be ordered online) filled with crushed mint will work wonders at controlling flies around the home.

To naturally control flies, try this great option.  Wrap eucalyptus, cloves and bay leaves in a cheesecloth (use a small size).  Hang this near open doors and windows.

Sweet basil and clover should be placed around any food throughout the house to naturally deter flies.

A good method for natural fly control around the home is toadd some eucalyptus oil (only a few drops) to an absorbent cloth.  This cloth can be left around the home where flies gather.

It's very easy to make your own natural homemade fly paper.  Simply cut brown craft paper into strips and set aside.  Now, make a mixture of one tablespoon of brown sugar, one tablespoon of granulated sugar and a quarter cup of syrup.  Soak the paper in the mixture and allow the strips to dry overnight.  Hang the strips by poking a hole at the end of the strip and hang with string in areas where flies congregate.
