Gas & Bloating Natural Home Remedies

 

 

A great home remedy for gas and bloating that I haven’t seen anybody mention is the use of coriander.  You can take the coriander seeds and crush them into powder form and sprinkle them on vegetables when you stir fry them.  It is known as a flavor enhancer to curry and meals that originate form the Middle East.  The use of coriander really helps to move the food downward in digestion and will ease cramps, bloating, hiccups, and gas.

If you’re looking to get relief from gas and digestive spasms; I have a natural remedy for you.  Mix some lemon juice and baking soda together in a cup of cool water, and drink it following meals.  You should add about one teaspoon of the lemon juice, and about a half teaspoon of the baking soda.  Also, you don’t want to add ice because this can contribute to any digestive spasms you may be having.

There is a good natural remedy for gas that involves the use of massage herbs.  There are many herbs that can be used for this purpose.  Just add them to sesame or olive and rub over your abdomen to gain some relief from having gas.  Some of the herbs you can use are cardamom, fennel, ginger, cinnamon, and clove.

When you are eat meals that are on the gassy side; just sprinkle some rosemary on the food.  This will help to reduce the symptoms of gas and cramping.  You can also do this process with thyme and sage.

There are some terrific herbs that can be steeped into effective teas for helping to relieve gas.  Some of these include:  sage, peppermint, cinnamon, cloves, basil leaves, aniseed, chamomile, ginger, and peppermint.  You will need to steep about a half teaspoon of the herb into about a cup of boiling water to make your tea.  It may not taste very pleasant; but, you can add honey or some lemon to help out with this.  If you drink this a few times a day, your symptoms should go away.

One of the best home remedies for bloating and gas that I’ve come across is the use of turmeric.  You may find this to completely remove the gas and cramping.  Turmeric is a spice that is found in curry powder.  You can sprinkle some turmeric on some rice or add some curry to a bland meal.  Whatever way you chose to use it; it will be very effective in relieving your gas.
